Second Feature for Toronto 2010
The feature film, Jucy, produced by Kelly Chapman and directed by Louise Alston, will screen at the Toronto International Film Festival. Bolam Legal congratulates the film makers and is proud to have provided production legals for this, the second film for TIFF 2010 on which it worked. Fury Productions' Machete Maidens Unleashed will also screen at Toronto.

Machete Maidens Unleashed for TIFF 2010
Fury Productions has announced that its feature documentary Machete Maidens Unleashed will screen at the Toronto International Film Festival in the Reel to Reel documentary slot. MMU received a great reception at its world premiere at the Melbourne International Film Festival in July 2010 and will also be broadcast on ABC1. Bolam Legal is very pleased to have acted for Fury Productions on this and its other projects.

The Horseman
The award-winning "revenge" thriller, The Horsemen, has opened in cinemas in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. Bolam Legal provided production legals for the film and congratulates the writer/director Steven Kastrissios and producer Bec Dakin.

Screen Queensland Industry Event Examines The Offset
Last month Peter Bolam joined a panel of presenters at an event hosted by Screen Queensland to discuss how producers can make use of the Producer Offset. The panel also comprised Lynn Paetz of Warner Roadshow Production Services, Maureen Barron, Chief Executive Officer of Screen Queensland and Meredith Garlick, its Head of Development and Prodcution. Information on the use of SPVs to access the Offset has been added to our Guides & Templates under the Screen tab.
